About Me

Welcome! My name is Rachel Dunn, and I am a certified labor and postpartum and infant care doula providing services in the Boston and greater Boston area. As a doula, I provide emotional, physical, and educational support to mothers who are expecting, experiencing labor, or have recently given birth. I also work per diem at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston on the clinical research unit taking care of both inpatients and outpatients undergoing treatment for clinical trials. 

 

My birth and postpartum experiences generated a profound interest in assisting mothers and families in prenatal and postpartum support. So many wonderful changes happen when you have a baby, but I also learned that it can be incredibly challenging and overwhelming, especially during the first few months. I am here to inform, educate, and advocate for you, but most importantly, help guide you along the way during your pregnancy, birth, and the beginning stages of motherhood.​

 

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband, two kids, and our Bernese mountain dog. My favorite hobbies include vacationing in Maine, skiing, reading, and knitting with my daughter.
