About Me
My Story
Welcome! My name is Rachel Dunn, and I am a certified labor and postpartum and infant care doula providing services in the Boston and greater Boston area. As a doula, I provide emotional, physical, and educational support to mothers who are expecting, experiencing labor, or have recently given birth.
My own birth and postpartum experiences generated a profound interest to assist mothers and families in prenatal and postpartum support. So many wonderful changes happen when you have a baby, but I also learned that it can be incredibly challenging and overwhelming, especially during the first few months. I am here to inform, educate, and advocate for you, but most importantly, help guide you along the way during your pregnancy, birth, and the beginning stages of motherhood. Together we can do this!
Services
Prenatal, Labor, & Birth Support
My role as a birth doula is to advocate for the mother, while providing continuous one-on-one care, as well as provide informational, emotional, and physical support to the birthing person and their partner. My goal is for you to have a safe, positive, and empowering birthing experience.
Postpartum & Infant Care Support
As a postpartum and infant care doula I work with families who've recently had a baby, and help them navigate the often overwhelming and emotional challenges of life with a newborn so that they feel more informed, have the necessary resources, and are supported and cared for along the way.
